About me
I believe my mission in life is to share the beauty of Japan with the world.
Japan is a place I hold close to my heart, and I’ve dedicated my studies and my life to understanding its culture, language, history, and traditions. Everything I do through Wami Travel comes from a deep, genuine love for this country.
My journey with Japan
I graduated in Japanese Studies from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2018, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of living in both Sapporo (2016) and Tokyo (2017). Experiencing Japan as both a student and as a local allowed me to see the country beyond sightseeing - through everyday life, cultural nuances, unspoken rules, and the warmth of the people.
I’ve visited Japan multiple times and will be returning again for the fifth time in 2025. Every trip deepens my understanding and renews my desire to help others experience Japan in an authentic and meaningful way.
A global perspective
Having lived in seven countries - and speaking six languages (Italian, English, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and French) - I can connect with people from all over the world. This multicultural background helps me understand travelers’ needs, expectations, and worries, no matter where they come from.
Why I love helping travelers
I feel truly energized and fulfilled when clients tell me how much they enjoyed my recommendations and how unforgettable their trip was. My enthusiasm is contagious - I’ll get you excited for Japan with tips, cultural insights, movies, music, and book suggestions that bring you one step closer to embracing this incredibly rich culture.
Helping people experience Japan in a deeper, more personal way is what brings me joy.
🌿 The Meaning Behind “Wami” 🌿
Wa (和) represents harmony, calm, and everything that is traditionally Japanese.
Mi (美) means beauty, elegance, and refinement.
Together, Wami expresses the idea of beautiful, authentic experiences - a slow, mindful way of traveling in Japan that respects its culture, its people, and the environment.
The connection between the a and the m in the logo symbolizes relationship and flow.
In a world that often feels too loud, Wami invites us to slow down - to embrace the harmony and inner calm of Wa, while cultivating the beauty and elegance of Mi.
This name unites these two forces: a gentle reminder to live with balance, finding beauty in stillness and refinement in simplicity.
It reflects not only how I see Japan, but how I hope you will experience it.
